He specializes in delivering advanced GIS solutions and consulting across sectors, including government and private industry, with clients in the US, Canada, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. Brian’s expertise lies in leveraging open-source tools and advanced techniques in computer vision and deep learning to create innovative geospatial systems, as well as building machine learning pipelines for processing and analysis. His recent projects include developing deep learning models for geomorphological feature detection using LiDAR, identification of objects from satellite imagery to estimate commerce, and creating image processing applications for multi-spectral cameras mounted on drones.
