Erika Becker-Medina is a Senior Leader for Statistical Information Product Development & Use at the U.S. Census Bureau, where she leads enterprise efforts to modernize statistical products and strengthen stakeholder engagement. Her work focuses on ensuring federal data is not only produced—but understood and used.

She has led strategic communications for the 2020 Census, developed new approaches to data user engagement, and advanced the Census Bureau’s Statistical Product First (SPF) framework to better align data with real-world needs.

Erika is known for translating complex data into actionable insights and for bringing people together across disciplines—making her especially well-suited to moderate conversations at the intersection of data, real-world use, and practice.
